Motocross game 'MXGP PRO' receives release date

Motocross game 'MXGP PRO' receives release date MILESTONE / SQUARE-ENIX

Vroom vroom!  Square-Enix says the upcoming motorcross game, MXGP PRO, will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) on July 10.

Developed by Milestone, MXGP PRO  is a brand new title that's been designed to satisfy motorcross fans regardless of how devoted they are.  As such, players will be able to customize nearly every aspect of their bike based on real values and metrics.

Milestone says the knowledge gained from community feedback and previous titles in the MXGP franchise has led to this new experience, which enhances racing by refining gameplay.

“This year we have been able to completely redefine the physics and the entire gameplay experience of MXGP,” said Luca Simonotti, Lead Designer at Milestone.  “We started from the analysis of suspension, we compared the pressure with fork extensions as well as single shock-absorbers using the same values of official MXGP athletes’ bikes; the same process has been done with the ECU mapping.  Moreover, thanks to the exclusive partnership with official MXGP riders Tim Gajser, Tony Cairoli, and Gautier Paulin we have been able to receive qualitative feedbacks on areas of improvements towards the whole development process.  It has been a unique experience for us to be on track with them and we are proud of the results achieved.”

Once they have secured the most powerful bike aligned with their riding style, all players will have access to a never-before seen tool that will help them conquer any circuit in any weather condition.  This is why The Compound in MXGP Pro becomes an essential practice area.  From flat terrains to the most challenging ones, The Compound is a free space to train and develop players' driving skills.

MXGP Pro will be for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC/STEAM on July 10.
