Crashlands, an indie-made crafting adventure game from developer Butterscotch Shenanigans, will be coming out on Nintendo Switch on Nov. 8.
The game takes place across three huge biomes and features a story mode that clocks in at more than 40 hours thanks to a bunch of NPCs, tons of sidequests, and big nasty bosse. The game also boasts both a "Creative" and "Hardcore" mode to give players even more options. Furthermore, Crashlands supports cross-play with saves from the PC and mobile versions via Butterscotch Shenanigan’s Rumpus system.
“Crashlands was therapeutic for me and my brothers to make while I was kicking cancer’s butt,” said Sam Coster, co-founder, Butterscotch Shenanigans. “It’s a wonderfully wacky portal into our minds, and with the upcoming debut of co-op on Switch, we hope it brings your friends and family as much joy as it does our own.”
While Crashlands doesn't come out on Nintendo Switch until Nov. 8, the game is already available on iOS and Android, as well as on PC via Steam.
The ESRB rates Crashlands as "T for Teen".
