'Kingdom Hearts III' ships five million units worldwide

Square Enix, publisher of many RPG series such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, has announced that Kingdom Hearts III, the newest entry in the Disney-crossover RPG series, is now the fastest-selling entry in the series's history. Since its release one week ago on January 29, over five million copies of the game have been sold around the world. Square Enix also noted the critical reception for the game, which was announced over three years ago, and has been awaited since the 2005 release of Kingdom Hearts II.

Kingdom Hearts III is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
