European entertainment company Atlantyca Entertainment and Nintendo have teamed up to bring characters from the 'Tea Sisters' cartoon into the world of video games. The agreement means the 'Tea Sisters' brand will appear on a Nintendo 3DS and 2DS themes.
Various 'Tea Sisters' images, icons, and backgrounds are going to be included in the 3DS and 2DS' home menu themes and follows the agreement Atlantyca and Nintendo have with the 'Geronimo Stilton' themes the portable systems.
“Today’s children are all about their hand-held devices,” says Atlantyca Licensing Manager Marco Piccinini said in an interview with industry magazine Licence Global. “With more than 18 million copies sold to date, translations in more than 18 languages, ‘Tea’s Sisters’ popularity has grown extensively resulting in a greater evergreen fan base. We are honored to have Nintendo back as one of our leading partners and look forward to working with them again with these two wonderful children’s properties.”
'Tea Sisters' branded themes are now available through the Nintendo Theme Shop.
