Anime crossover fighting game 'Jump Force' releases today

Bandai Namco, publisher of many video games based on anime series such as Dragon Ball and One Piece, have announced the official release of Jump Force, a 3-vs-3 tag-team fighting game featuring many characters from Shonen Jump manga series. When the real world starts merging with the manga worlds, it's up to Goku, Naruto, Monkey D. Luffy and more to stop the corrupted Venoms and save the day.

The game features characters from the following manga series:

  • Black Clover
  • Bleach
  • Boruto: Naruto Next Generations
  • City Hunter
  • Death Note (no playable characters)
  • Dragon Ball
  • Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai
  • Fist of the North Star
  • Hunter x Hunter
  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
  • My Hero Academia
  • Naruto
  • One Piece
  • Rurouni Kenshin
  • Saint Seiya
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Yu Yu Hakusho

"Playground bets of who would win in a fight between Goku and Naruto can finally be settled," said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. "Jump Force sets the stage for the ultimate collection of popular manga characters to come together for explosive battles to prove, once and for all, who is the most powerful character in the Jump universe."

Jump Force is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for a MSRP of $59.99.
