Smash-style shooter 'Sky Noon' launches onto Steam LUNAR ROOSTER

A new competitive shooter has landed on Steam.

Made by indie developer Lunar Rooster Sky Noon, a first person Smash-style shooter, has departed from Steam Early Access and is now available in its full (but not final) version.  In addition to all the air-powered weaponry and grappling hook madness that has been available during Early Access, a new game mode called “Money Bags” has been added, as well as improvements to Duels and Time Trials.

"Through all the ups and downs of making our first video game, we’re quite proud of what we achieved for Sky Noon,” states Craig Taylor, co-founder and lead programmer at Lunar Rooster.  “We learned so much through this experience and hopefully gamers will enjoy playing Sky Noon as much as we had fun making it.”

In Sky Noon, players take the role of hired gunslingers that battle opposing fighters across floating islands in the sky.  Taking a departure from the genre, Sky Noon dues not use health bars.  Rather, players have to use various super-power compressed air weapons to send opposing players packing.  Grappling hooks and lassos are constantly used to prevent players from falling off into the great blue sky and can be ombined with other items like steam-powered jet boots, jump pads, teleporters, and more.

Sky Noon is available for $14.99 USD.
