HD remaster of 'Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age' announced by Square-Enix SQUARE-ENIX

Square-Enix announces plans Monday to bring a high-definition remastering of Final Fantasy XII to PlayStation 4.

Scheduled for release next year, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is going to be based on the Japanese re-release of the original game called Final Fantasy XII International: Zodiac Job System.  Square-Enix says the HD remake will feature a number of improvements including those to graphics, gameplay, and in-game features.  The game's audio is also getting an upgrade with both Japanese and English dialog, music from either the original or International versions, and 7.1 surround sound compatibility.  Square-Enix also states that the remastered versions loading times will be much quicker than those of the original or International versions.
