The 500 players will be selected during a Super-Fan Signup Day, which will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the Nintendo NY store located at 10 Rockefeller Plaza in NYC.  Nintendo will take the first 500 eligible people in line when the store opens at 9 a.m. ET.  Those folks will receive a wristband that they can exchange for a ticket, guaranteeing them a spot to play the game during selected times June 14-19.  Nintendo will be allowing fans to begin lining up as early as 7 a.m. on the 11th and in requiring everybody to have a photo I.D. to be eligible.  Minors will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The six-day event, which will be free of charge, is scheduled to begin at noon on June 14.  That's when fans will be invited to watch gameplay of The Legend of Zelda live-streamed from Nintendo’s booth at this year’s E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles on the 15-foot gaming screen inside Nintendo NY.  Three hours later, at 3 p.m., the first of the 500 selected players will get to play the game for the first time.

Nintendo experts will also be giving guided game-play demonstrations on the big screen for everyone to watch and enjoy.  Some of the invited players will have the chance to participate in guided demos.  There will also be The Legend of Zelda trivia for a chance for fans to win prizes.
