Fans of video games based off of Games Workshop's Warhammer tabletop fantasy games won't have to wait much longer to get their hands on the latest one as SEGA and Relic Entertainment announce the soon-to-begin open beta for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III.
Taking place from Apr. 21 through 24, the open beta will pit players against each other in Dawn of War III’s multiplayer gameplay. Relic says this game mode best highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each of the game's three factions (Space Marines, Eldar, and Orks). Each faction will have a selection of powerful elite heroes available. This will allow open beta players to experiment with different playstyles and strategies. Interested computer gamers can sign up for the beta by visiting https://www.dawnofwar.com/beta.
The Open Beta weekend also gives players their first chance to see and experience the Masters of War skins in action. The Dark Queen skin for Lady Solaria (Imperial Knight), the Ghost Seer skin for Farseer Taldeer (Wraithknight) and the Big Kustom skin for Beauty (Morkanaut) will all be available for use. The Masters of War Skin Pack is included with all pre-orders of Dawn of War III at no additional charge.
The third installment of the Dawn of War real-time strategy franchise, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III will be released on April 27th, 2017, as a PC exclusive.
