RPG 'Record of Agarest War Mariage' coming to PC in early 2019 IDEA FACTORY INT'L

Idea Factory International unveils plans to release Record of Agarest War Mariage, an RPG that originally came out on the Sony PSP, onto Steam in early 2019.

Here's what IFI says about the game:

Agarest begins with a hero, who at birth, was given a difficult task in defeating the Archdemon.  The society revolves around the mythos of Yiris, the Larva commonly known as the Sacred Princess, who blessed the world and fell in love with a human.  Martyred for her love, she was then punished by the heavenly creator.  The Archdemon arrived soon after, and Yiris’ lover pledged to destroy the evil Archdemon with the infamous Ciel Blade, a sword of rainbow.

Players begin the game as the first-generation protagonist Rain and will have the chance to choose from various bachelorettes.  This part matters because the story's path changes depending on the chosen girl and extends through two generations with each new protagonist inheriting stats and abilities from their parents.

The game features a "Unification System" that allows players to unlock special interactive CGs when reaching a certain "Heart Level" with their love interest.  Higher Heart Levels mean that players can enjoy a more **cough cough** intimate experience with their chosen bachelorette as well as unlocking new abilities and weapons.

Players can also craft various outfits for their party members by using items picked up from enemies as well as from the local store.  There is also a 360-degree viewable gallery so players can check out their duds.

A trailer for the upcoming Steam release is not yet available, but you can check out the game's original trailer from 2010 below:

Record of Agarest War Mariage on Steam will include English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles.
