Retro-inspired game 'Snake Pass' dated for March release SUMO DIGITAL

Indie game developer Sumo Digital has revealed that the company's upcoming physics-platformer title, Snake Pass, will be coming out March 28 (the 29th in Europe).

Releasing for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Snake Pass is a retro-inspired collectathon platformer in which players slither, curl, and climb their way through 15 levels across four increasingly challenging worlds filled with obstacles and challenges.

Snake Pass is a real passion project for the team. It’s been so fun creating our own characters, visual style and establishing our own voice as IP creators.” said Seb Liese, Creator of Snake Pass.  “Our mission with Snake Pass, was to make the simple act of controlling Noodle the Snake as fun as possible.  Once players start to “think like a snake”, they will be amazed at the incredible feats of acrobatics they are capable of.”

It was also announced that Snake Pass will have additional features when played on a PlayStation 4 Pro console.  Those with a PS4 Pro and a 4K TVs will be able to play Snake Pass in a higher resolution and at a higher frame rate than the other platforms.  On Xbox One, Snake Pass will support the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative.  Xbox One owners who buy the game will also get a free playable version for their Windows 10 PC with achievements and saves being shared across the two platforms.
