Ubisoft's hotly-anticipated video game, Far Cry 5, is now available on console and PC.
For the first time in franchise history, Far Cry 5 is set in the good 'ole U.S. of A. Ubisoft says the game "offers players total freedom to navigate a serene-looking yet deeply twisted world as the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana." In Hope County, players discover the existence of a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult known as Project at Eden's Gate. The cult is bent on igniting a violent takeover of the county and they're looking to being right there in the rural areas of Montana. Under siege and cut off from the rest of the world, players will join forces with residents of Hope County and form the Resistance.
Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Ubisoft is also offering a Season Pass for Far Cry 5. Those who purchase the Season Pass in addition to the base game will receive the single-player content from Far Cry 3 as well as three uncanny adventures with a unique Far Cry twist.
Far Cry 5 is rated "M for Mature" by the ESRB.
