Halloween is just around the corner and various video games are getting into the All Hallow's Eve spirit with special, spooky updates and in-game events.

  • Overwatch: Halloween Terror 2018 returns with several new Halloween-themed skins, highlight intros, emotes, and the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge.

  • Final Fantasy XIV: All Saints’ Wake is in full swing, with limited-time quests, items, and minions.

  • Destiny 2: Bungie's MMO FPS game has begun its Festival of the Lost, which includes a ‘Haunted Forest’ PvE mode, daily bounties, and a quest to pursue Master Ives’ killers.

  • World of Tanks Blitz: Wargaming recruited Mad Max: Fury Road vehicle designer Peter Pound to make brand new apocalypse-themed tanks for its Mad Games event.

  • Rocket League: The Haunted Hallows event from previous years returns and lets players earn Candy Corn to unlock limited-time cosmetics.

  • Fortnite: Fortnite players are experiencing Fortnitemares, with Cube Fragments scattered across the map, alongside new weapons, costumes, and a few other secret surprises.

  • Guild Wars 2: The long-running MMORPG is once again under the Shadow of the Mad King with PvE, PVP, a jumping puzzle, and much more during the Halloween season.

Of course, this isn't a complete list.  There are many more video games there across a variety of genres including MMOs, FPS, and casual online games running their own Halloween-themed events and specials.
