Laced Records is bringing the original Doom video game soundtrack to CD and LP this Summer.
Composed by long-time Bethesda collaborator Mick Gordon, his dark and intense vision channels industrial metal to mirror Doom's trademark brutal power fantasy gameplay across 31 synth and metal-filled tracks. All-in-all, the soundtrack's runtime is more than two hours in length.
The album is currently available for pre-order from Laced Records and comes in four versions including a two-CD set ($15.00), a four-LP Special Edition set featuring 180g blood-red vinyls ($35.00), a black-pressed four-LP set that includes double hard slip cases and features premium printed inner sleeves with Doom artwork ($80.00), and a Limited Special Edition blood-red-pressed four-LP set that also includesthe CD version and a Doom themed turntable slipmat ($100.00).
While the vinyl and CD versions won't be ready until Summer, Doom fans can already listen to the game's soundtrack digitally via iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.
