New album brings bluegrass to video gaming

There's a new video game tribute album out that's an entirely new take on video game music.

Now available digitally from Materia Collective, The Hit Points is the self-titled album from the band The Hit Points and features bluegrass covers of popular songs from The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimFinal Fantasy VIISonic: The Hedgehog, and more.  In addition to feature performers Eli Bishop and Matt Menefee, the album also features a number of guest artists and soloists.
