What's old is new again as Beep Games releases a remastered version of 2003's Voodoo Vince on Xbox One and PC.
Voodoo Vince was initially released as an exclusive title for the original Xbox. With the release of Voodoo Vince: Remastered, however, Windows PC gamers can also take part in the adventures of the New Orleans-themed platformer.
The quirky game is set in the magical underbelly of New Orleans and follows Vince on a wild tear through crawfish-laden swamps, haunted graveyards, and the eccentric French Quarter in search of his missing keeper, Madam Charmaine. Players get to show enemies who's boss with more than 30 voodoo attacks involving falling safes, prickly pushpins, bolts of lightning, and so on.
Voodoo Vince: Remastered features the gameplay of the 13-year-old original along with an upgrade to 1080p resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio and updated rendering and visual effects. Xbox LIVE integration and achievements as well as rumble support are also being included with the remastered version. Beep Industries says it should release early on in the year.
The game is rated "T for Teen" by the ESRB.
