Proving that what's old can always be new again, arcade manufacturer Universal Space (aka UNIS) showed off its new coffee table during CES 2018 in Las Vegas. Why a coffee table? Because it's also a real-life Pong game that has to be seen to be believed.
A physical game rather than a video game, this coffee table Pong is powered by a system of magnets. It's the literal size of a coffee table that might be found in any living room and is meant to be quite the conversation piece. The table supports two players for one-on-one play, but can also be played single-player against an AI opponent. Making things even better, it has the blessing of Atari itself, thus making it an officially-licensed Pong game.
The Pong coffee table was funded via Kickstarter. It's currently on pre-order and costs just shy of $3,000.00 USD.
