Artillery game 'Broken Ground' releases onto Steam BAD VIKING

PC gamers should get their shotguns and rocket launchers at the ready as indie game developer Bad Viking releases Broken Ground onto Steam.

Inspired by games such as Worms and Tank Wars, the free-to-play Broken Ground is a turn-based artillery game that features a huge selection of weaponry, destructible environments, customizable character outfits, and online multiplayer.  Bad Viking also promises a bunch of other features and special secrets for players to find on their own.

“Broken Ground is the game we've wanted to make since childhood,"  says Bad Viking developer Rob Donkin.  "Multiplayer artillery games are the first person shooters of 2D as far as we're concerned, and we've been putting our spin on the genre for the last seven years with games like Bad Eggs Online.  We've taken all that knowledge and experience and put it into Broken Ground to make a game that is reminiscent of those childhood classics like Worms while adding our own sense of fun and a strong focus on progression and exploration."
