Square-Enix releases 'Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition' on mobile SQUARE-ENIX

Now available on mobile from Square-Enix, Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is a game designed for both newcomers and Final Fantasy veterans alike.

Featuring an adorable art style and casual touch controls, the game is purpose-built for mobile devices and allows for pick-up-and-go gameplay.  It retells the Final Fantasy XV story of crown prince Noctis and his brothers-in-arms, Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus.  The story is spread across ten episodes with each one available from the get go.  Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition includes the first episode for free with additional episodes available for purchase individually.  They can also be purchased as a bundle.

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is compatible on iPhones and iPads running on iOS 11.1 or later, select Android devices running on Android 5.0 or later, as well as Amazon Fire HD 10 (2017).  Square-Enix says a Windows 10 and tvOS release is also scheduled for later this year.

The ESRB rates Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition as "T for Teen."
