Marvelous Entertainment unveils plans to release Assault Gunners, which is currently a Japan exclusive, to the West in the form of Assault Gunners HD Edition for PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) on Mar. 20.
The game was originally released in 2012 on PlayStation Vita and puts players in control of the Peace Keeping Force known as DAT. Along with three allied Battle Mechs, players must attempt to save Earth’s migrants and the Mars colonies from the threat of a robot uprising.
Assault Gunners HD Edition will be available in two forms — a ‘Standard Edition’ for $9.99 and a ‘Complete Set’ containing all DLC bundled with the base game for $11.99. All DLC can also be purchased separately for five bucks.
Developed by Shade Inc. and published in Europe and North America by Marvelous Europe Limited, Assault Gunners HD Edition is rated "E10+" by the ESRB.
