Video game company Tencent Games says more than 20,000 Ring of Elysium accounts and associated computers have been banned since new anti-cheat measures went into affect on Sept. 26.

The security measures were implemented in order for the company to provide an enjoyable game experience for players.  The three-tier security measures include computer bans, real-time ban notifications, and a player reporting feedback system.

"While aware that the presence of offending players can be commonplace within the genre of shooting games and battle royales, Tencent Games is committed to fairness being the core principle of Ring of Elysium," the company stated via press release.  "In order to continue to provide a fair gaming environment for players, the Ring of Elysium security team has actively monitored and reprimanded players strongly with permanent bans that have been found using hacking or cheating tools.  Tencent Games aims to guarantee a satisfying play experience for all players, through continuous monitoring and strengthening of the Ring of Elysium security systems."

Tencent Games is encouraging players to submit feedback to Ring of Elysium leaving a comment on the Tencent Games Security Facebook Page.
