'Mutant Football League' to touch down on Xbox One, PS4 later this month DIGITAL DREAMS ENTERTAINMENT

Forget the NFL: Mutant Football League is set to release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this month.

Carrying a Jan. 19 release date for both platforms, Mutant Football League is from indie games developer Digital Dreams Entertainment.  The game is a current-gen spiritual successor to the 1993 SEGA Genesis game Mutant League Football and features strategic seven-on-seven gameplay, bone-shattering hits, and a bunch of bloody tongue-in-cheek humor.  Furthermore, the game features the voice talents of Tim Kitzrow.  He's best known for his work on NBA Jam where he made famous such catchphrases as "Boomshakalaka!" and "He's on fire!"

Mutant Football League on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can be downloaded from each console's respective digital marketplace as of Jan. 19.  The game is currently available for PC via Steam.
