In roughly a week, the indie-made Phantom Trigger will be available for PC and Nintendo Switch gamers.
Publisher TinyBuild describes Phantom Trigger as a hardcore neon slasher with RPG elements. In the game, players need to figure out what is real and what is not as they follow the story of Stan on a journey through surreal and twisted worlds.
The game merges elements from slasher and RPG genres and boasts a combo system that involves the trapping and freezing of enemies, herding groups, burning bosses, and dashing from one combo to the next. Also featured are five worlds for players to explore as well as a branching storyline that could produce one of four different possible endings. TinyBuild also says players can expect more than seven hours of gameplay. There is also local co-op gameplay support.
