Curve Digital, publisher of indie games such as Thomas Was Alone and The Swapper, has announced the release of indie hit The Flame and the Flood on the Nintendo Switch. This roguelike places you in a post-societal America, where you and your dog Aesop will ride down a procedurally generated river, hunting and scavenging in order to survive. The game was developed by the Molasses Flood, a collection of developers from AAA studios such as Bungie (Halo, Destiny), Harmonix (Rock Band, Dance Central) and Irrational Games (SWAT 4, BioShock).
"The Flame In The Flood has always been about the journey rather than destination," said Forrest Dowling, Lead Designer of The Flame In The Flood. "That’s partly why we’re so pleased to bring the game to the Nintendo Switch, a console that allows you to play on the go. This version of the game looks and plays great docked or in the palm of your hands."
The Flame in the Flood is available now for $14.99 on the Nintendo eShop. The game's launch trailer is below.
