'Ace Combat 7' no longer a PS4 exclusive BANDAI NAMCO

Two more gaming platforms will soon be taking to the skies as Bandai Namco announces that the previously PlayStation 4 exclusive game Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will now also be coming out for Xbox One and PC.

Developed by Bandai Namco's in-house production studio, Project Aces, the game puts players in the cockpits of advanced war planes and delivers fierce air combat experiences through photorealistic visuals, dog-fighting action, and a multitude of authentic and futuristic aircraft to fly.

“We’re excited to announce our plans to bring the battle for air superiority in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown to Xbox One and Steam,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at Bandai Namco.  “With over 20 years of franchise history; Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown continues to deliver authentic yet accessible flight combat action to gamers around the world.  This latest version of the game delivers amazing visuals and intense gameplay, all wrapped in a unique and compelling storyline.  We look forward to seeing players suit up, strap in, and take their place as ace pilots.”

Ace Combat 7 isn't the only upcoming title from Bandai Namco to lose its platform exclusivity.  The upcoming RPG Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is also no longer a PS4 exclusive.
