HyperX releases two new gaming keyboards HYPERX

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technologies, has released a pair of new gaming keyboards each featuring a different type of Cherry switches.

The HyperX Alloy FPS keyboard lineup, which originally contained only a model using Cherry MX Blue switches now also includes the models using the Cherry MX Red and Brown ones.  Designed with portability in mind, the HyperX Alloy FPS keyboards come with a padded mesh travel pouch to store and protect the keyboard and accessories for tournaments and LAN events.  They also feature a convenient USB port is designed for charging smartphones.  Furthermore, the keys are backlit with red LEDs and have six preset LED profiles.  HyperX says the keys are guaranteed for 50 million key strokes per key switch and they keyboards themselves come with additional textured red keycaps for WASD and 1-4.                                           

“HyperX is pleased to expand our Alloy FPS keyboard product line to now include Cherry MX Red or Brown switches, along with the blue switches we introduced in 2016,” said Marcus Hermann, senior business manager, HyperX.  “Gamers who play FPS classics like CS:GO or Overwatch can now choose from a variety of Alloy FPS gaming keyboards including a linear switch, a tactile switch or something in between.”

Both of HyperX's new keyboards retail at $99.99 each and are available from online and local retailers.
