'Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme•VS Force' releases for Vita BANDAI NAMCO

The PlayStation Vita exclusive Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme • VS Force is now available as a digital only title from Bandai Namco.

In Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme • VS Force, players pilot legendary Mobile Suits and take on incredible scenarios spanning the entire Gundam universe from 'Mobile Suit Gundam' to 'Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century' in fast-paced 2-v-2 gameplay as well as larger strategic battles.

The game is based on the Japanese 'GUNDAM VS' franchise, which has produced more than 10 titles across multiple console systems and arcades in Japan.  Players of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme • VS Force can choose from a treasure trove of Mobile Suits across the Gundam series including the first video game appearance of characters from 'Gundam Reconquista in G' and 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans'.

New to the PS Vita exclusive is the inclusion of large-scale "Force" battles.  In this play mode, players take control of the battlefield in either single player or local multiplayer skirmishes in both third-person action and overhead tactical views and command teams of six Mobile Suits and a large battleship.  The new Force mode gives ace pilots tactical control over the placement and actions of their troops as they compete in eliminating the opposing team’s forces.

“Mobile Suit Gundam is one of Japan’s most famous exports with numerous television series, best-selling toys, movies, manga, and a giant statue in the heart of Tokyo,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing for Bandai Namco.  “We are excited for fans to be immersed in the world of Gundam with Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme • VS Force, the latest entry in the much-requested series straight from Japan.”

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme • VS Force is rated “T for Teen" by the ESRB and carries a MSRP of $39.99 (prices may vary in different countries within the Americas).
