Grab your skis and hold on to your beanie as Curve Digital and Hugecalf Studios release When Ski Lifts Go Wrong on Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).
The game mashes together mechanical engineering with the sheer job of sending hapless winter sports fans to their untimely doom. Actually, it's not just winter enthusiasts who get all of the action. With the release, Hugecalf Studios has added summer-themed content to the game as well to bring the game's level count to more than 100.
In short, it's a game about enjoying each failure, as madcap physics and bloody mishaps make every runthough feel fresh. Players will find themselves constructing ski-themed courses by rigging chair lifts, gondolas and ramps, then directly control their riders to get them to the finish line unharmed.
“When Ski Lifts Go Wrong features some of the most realistic physics around, much to the chagrin of all the virtual skiers we tortured to perfect this,” said Jonny Hughes, Producer and Game Designer for Hugecalf Studios. ”After more than two years of development, we’re constantly finding new ways to torment the denizens of these doomed slopes.”
When Ski Lifts Go Wrong is rated "T for Teen" by the ESRB.
