A new generation of wireless gaming headset is on its way from Astro Gaming and the company says it's been designed and professionally tuned to deliver an audiophile-grade performance.
“The A50 remains one of the most popular headsets on the market today due to its outstanding audio fidelity, exceptional comfort and durability, unmatched connectivity and upgradeability and more,” said Aron Drayer, VP of Marketing Astro Gaming. “Our new A50 improves upon all these features, providing gamers with inspired technology that enables them to perform at their best.”
The headset, which will retail for $299.99, will boast new drivers, new wireless radio technology, and lets users customize their sound profile through the included Astro Command Center software. Furthermore, the 4th Generation A50 is optimized for spatial audio solutions such as Dolby ATMOS. Astros says the headset's base station provides clear, low-latency voice communication while also making headset pairing and charging simple.
While currently available for pre-order from Astro, the company did not provide a clear street date for when the 4th Generation A50 wireless gaming headset would become available to the general public.
