Performance computer gaming company MSI launches a number of products during CES 2017 including new VR-ready gaming laptops, motherboards, and more.
Leading the charge are the new laptops. Powered by Intel 7th generation CPUs, MSI says gamers can expect a performance boost of between 15-25% compared to previous models. Additionally, the line's available NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 Ti and GTX1050 gaming graphics cards are designed to deliver the faster and smoother VR experiences and 4K resolution. MSI also enhances the audio experience with ESS SABRE HiFi technology which the company says has just passed the certification from Hi-Res Audio.

At CES this year, MSI is also showing the next generation in the company's gaming motherboards. The boards are equipped with features such as M.2 Shield to protect against thermal throttling on super-fast M.2 SSDs and VR Boost to deliver a smooth VR experience with lower latency and less chance of motion sickness.
The Z270 Gaming M7 gaming motherboard won a CES Innovation Honorees 2017 award and designed for a high-end gaming system. It has features such as Audio Boost 4 Pro to provides gamers with higher-end sound. Also, all of the board's heatsinks and covers feature RGB Mystic Light, which lets users change the colors and effects with a click of the mouse.
The new Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard also has the RGB Mystic Light feature. Using the Gaming App, gamers can easily control the LEDs by their smartphone. Mystic Light Sync ensures any additional LEDs on cases, keyboard or other accessories synchronize colors and effects.
There is also the new Z270 Tomahawk gaming motherboard. It's built with features such as twin Turbo M.2, Gaming LAN, and Audio Boost.
As for the new graphics cards, the company's GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Z and X 8G are on display at CES 2017. Both cards come equipped with the Twin Frozr VI thermal design.
MSI is also coming out with new PC gaming peripherals. These new items include the Immerse GH70 gaming headset featuring certified Hi-Res drivers with Virtual 7.1 Surround sound and color effects through MSI Mystic Light Sync. The company's new Clutch GM70 gaming mouse boasts an 18000 DPI optical sensor and full RGB Mystic Light. It can be used both wired and wireless by simply disconnecting the cable on the mouse for ultimate comfort. Finally, two new mechanical gaming keyboards geared towards high-end gaming featuring Cherry MX Switches, RGB Mystic Light, and a multitude of hotkeys called the Vigor GK80 and GK70 gaming keyboards are designed to offer both comfort and practicality.
