Digital voyeur simulator 'Do Not Feed the Monkies' hits Steam FICTIORAMA STUDIOS

PC gamers who are looking for something that's a tad off of the norm can now put some time into Do Not Feed the Monkeys, a game that indie developer Fictiorama Studios calls a "digital voyeur simulator."

award-winning title, Do Not Feed the Monkeys, will be coming out via Steam this October with a open beta coming in September.

Fictiorama calls Do Not Feed the Monkeys a "digital voyeur simulator."  It's a story-driven title in which players invade the privacy of dozens of strangers while they witness their most intimate moments, trying to keep up with paying rent, and having enough money to buy some food.

Says publisher Alwar Premium:

In this story-driven title you’ll become a new member of the “Primate Observation Club,” where you invade the privacy of dozens of strangers while you witness their most intimate moments through surveillance cameras, all while trying to keep up with the rent payment and have enough money to buy some food from time to time.

The game features a strong "pixel art" visual style and allows players to browse social networks, wikis, websites, newspapers, online stores, and chat rooms to collect information about the "monkeys" players will be spending their time spying on.  The Primate Observation Club forbids interaction with the monkeys, but it's ultimately up to the player whether or not to intercede.

Do Not Feed the Monkeys has won a number of awards leading up to its release this autumn including Most Innovative from 3DWire Segovia, Best Indie Game from FEFFS Strasbourg, and Media Choice from IndieCade Europe in 2017.
